NH-48 via Mahipalpur is faster despite the toll: 40 to 60 minutes at 7 AM.
Sohna Road and New Gurgaon
NH-48 as well: 50 to 80 minutes depending on how far south or west the address is.
Delhi to Haryana
Goods vehicles need a permit to cross from Delhi into Haryana, and Delhi restricts them on some roads at some hours. Ours carry the permit, the departure is planned around the timings, and nothing is charged separately.
Packing and loading in Saket: what changes by area
DDA blocks
Five- and six-storey blocks with lifts rated around 300 kg and stairwells about 3 to 3.5 feet wide. Assembled wardrobes, fridges and washing machines go by the stairs, and the crew is sized for it.
Private apartment societies
Lifts vary by building; some take smaller furniture, others are as limited as the DDA blocks. Checked building by building, along with the society’s own gate clearance for the truck.
Builder floors
Ground plus three, staircase only, on roads a full truck can use. Upper floors take longer to load.
Heirlooms and books
Older furniture, paintings and decoratives are assessed at the survey and wrapped in blankets and foam; a large bookshelf often fills 15 to 25 cartons.

Golf Course Road and DLF Phases 3 to 5
Gated societies that want the vehicle number, driver details and crew IDs 24 to 48 hours ahead, and a booked service-lift slot. We file both before the truck sets off.
Sushant Lok, South City and Palam Vihar
Builder floors and older blocks, many without a lift, so stair carries are planned into the crew. Some internal lanes are too narrow for the truck and a smaller vehicle does the last stretch.
New Gurgaon and Dwarka Expressway
High-rise towers where the basement is often too low for a full-size truck. Goods are unloaded at ground level and taken to the lift by trolley, and the vehicle is chosen before dispatch.
Sohna Road townships
Nirvana Country, Ardee City and Park View City register vehicles at the gate, and some of their internal lanes take only a smaller vehicle.
